Drupal Career Starter Program - Fall 2011

The Drupal Career Starter Program is a 10 week program presented by Anello Consulting for people with a knack for IT that are seeking a quick, clear path toward new, stable careers. 

The Fall 2011 session is a partnership initiative with Brevard Workforce that allows for presentation of the program to 18 eligible participants at no-cost for training and including a follow-on internship.  The complete program will put participants on the path to becoming well-compensated professionals in Drupal, one of the fastest growing content management systems in the world.

Applications are now being accepted for a limited number of slots in the 2011 Drupal Career Starter Program session for those who have been displaced due to the retirement of the NASA Shuttle program.

Drupal Career Starter Program:

  • 10 week curriculum with follow-on internship program
  • Participants must meet minimum requirements
  • 18 slots available for the 2011 session
  • Course runs Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning 4 October 2011
  • Classes held at Cocoa Civic Center in Cocoa Village from 5:30 - 9:00 pm
  • Participants are required to bring a suitably configured laptop to each class  (see details below)

A suitably configured, WiFi-enabled laptop can be any one of the following:

  • A laptop with a modern Microsoft-based OS (VISTA or 7), 512 MB RAM, 1GB free hard drive space.
  • A laptop with Apple OS X (10.4 or higher), 512MB RAM, 1GB free hard drive space.
  • A laptop with a modern Linux-based OS, 512MB RAM, 1GB free hard drive space.
